Big Band Brothers

Big Band Brothers was established in 2006 by percussionist / singer Daniel Cauchi. The band’s performance and antics on stage portray a collective desire to have fun playing and making music. Big Band Brothers have taken their brand of live performance both locally, collaborating with various artists and also internationally in Portugal, Sicily, London, Liverpool and Istanbul. Last summer the Big Band Brothers provided the musical backdrop in Theatre Anon’s sold out production of ‘Ospizio’ as part of the Malta Arts Festival. The Big Band Brothers most distinguished production was last November at the MCC where the band produced and directed their own concert ‘A One Night Stand with the Big  Band  Brothers’. For Għanafest, Big Band Brothers will present a selection of Maltese songs from the 1930s that have been recently released on CD by Andrew Alamango in a publication entitled ‘Lost Voices of Malta’. This unique cycle of vintage Maltese songs will be featuring singer Justin Galea.
